Hi there, I have not had this, but have done some reading for you: bloodjournal.hematologylibr... and ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/168...

and a more detailed one here, so it is known about and quite widely written up: bloodjournal.hematologylibr...

I also read a case of a 12 year old boy who had this with Mumps and turned out to have APS!

Hi sangje

I had a severe heamolitic anaemia about 5 years ago. So severe i was 1 month in ICU. I am still trying to recover as i have had other health issues due to aps. I took mabthera for 13 months and now i've been over 1.5 year with benlysta. If there's anything i can help you with, im here any time!

Thanks Pam that would be useful. They do not seem to be linking it with a.p.s.do you know what triggered yours ? I am currently on high dose steroids (prednisone) and washed transfusions. How. Long before you got back to work normal life or are you more compromised with the other complications ?
