My INR was 1. 7 , So my dose was increased by 1 mg ,Also had a nurse practitioner ,give more information about foods, vitamins and such. Was told basically that once I was at the target range I could add more as needed to get optimum results. I am just so glad that I have found a Dr to go to.

It sounds like you are on the right track. It might take a while to get to your target range and can be tricky staying in range but sounds like you have good support which is half the battle.

Just checked my yellow book as I started on Warfarin on Friday of last week. My INR was 1.2. No wonder I have been feeling so awful! We should have a race to see which of us can get to target first ;)
