World AIDS Day

This is the first time in 10 years where I haven’t been involved in delivering HIV awareness sessions on/around World AIDS Day. Hoping to find a new project in my area that wants volunteers.

It’s good to know that number of diagnoses is lower than ever and more people are getting tested.

It’s great to know that people with HIV are living long, healthy lives and we have superb medications to enable this.

We are a ‘lucky’ generation and should remember those who haven’t been so fortunate.

Hey Ian,

It sounds like after 10 years you deserve a break! Hope your WAD was a good one.

If you're looking for volunteering opportunities check out Project 100. It's a Peer Support project that's running nationally in the UK!

Gratitude is plentiful when it comes to where we are now. All who have come before are remembered on World AIDS day.
