Hey guys, I'm new here as well! I was diagnosed 3 months ago and been on medication since then too..

Will ever get easier? I cant stop thinking about it..

Yes it does get better sometimes a change of medication is needed but always speak to your doctor about anything

it seems like everything has changed but still at the same time everything is the same.. i havent been able to tell anyone yet.. i dont think they will understand how it feels

Like you I put it to the back of my mind but I am on medication 1 tablet a day and I go for regular check ups, but still I keep it too myself

Hi Sav,

Not only will it get better but there will come a time when you will laugh and be happy and be living a full and active life. Three months is not a long time to have to take in so much change, give your self time to process and get used to your new situation. Although finding out you are now living with HIV is no longer a terminal diagnoses, it is a life changing pice of news.

I have been living with HIV for some 20 years. In this time I have met some incredible people and had some of the best times of my life. I think I have become a much better person with HIV than I ever was without it.

Give your self time, be nice to yourself and remember you are not alone.

Yeah it gets much easier! I never think about it nowadays! If you want to chat about experiences and lessons i learned just shout!!
