Hey well things are going ok was diagnosed on the 5th November and I am now on medication from 27th December so about a full two weeks now. I have only had very minor side effects and I'm on 1 pill per day. Truimeq. I think this is a good sign that maybe I'm not going to get any issues with the medication. Can anyone advise

Hi Ryan, it sounds like your getting on really well with your Meds. If your not getting any side effects now chances are things will continue to go well for you. Good luck!!
I would just like to reiterate what Sweet said. If you are not having any issues with your medication now it is lightly that it will remain that way. With most HIV medication it can take the body a few weeks to get used to it but things normally get much better after a couple of months which is why our Doctors encourage us to push through any side effects in the early days.
For me one of the most valuable things over the last ten or fifteen years has been the improvement in the side effects with newer medication. When I started treatment is was quite a strain but now things are a lot easier.
Truimeq is very new and has had good results in clinical trials as both good at combatting the virus as well as being kind to the body with little or no side effects for most people.
hi Ryan1979! looks like you are getting really well with your medications. if you have side effects, they are most likely to subside/resolve after a few days/weeks. taking your medications regularly make you feel like you are in control and not the disease. good luck! d
