Im new to the group i was diagnosed hiv positive a year ago and started combination therapy this week and have felt really healthy so far there is so much to learn still i feel although I understand the basics its alot to take in

Welcome ,yes it's a lot to take in I have been positive since 2010 but I find am still learning there is a lot of information and there is always new stuff coming up as well .good luck with your treatment

Yeah thats me i think ive started to get the technical terms then get told something else i dont understand but I just deal with things day by day and i have a brilliant partner

I recommend dipping in and out of websites such as THT tht.org.uk/myhiv

Maybe joining a support group in your area. Take your time, there is no rush.

Hi Martin. I am glad to hear you are doing well on treatment and that you have support in your brilliant partner which is also really useful. Those technical terms can be a bit confusing. There is an organization called ibase. They explain terms in simple language. you may find it useful i-base.info/
