Hi, sorry to hear you're struggling but it's a shock, don't panic. like Alan said talk to us all here. let it all out, the hepc will harm you enough so don't help it, try and help yourself instead ☺ hepc trust org is also good as you can call them on the phone, they are hepc sufferers past and present. just like us. don't let it get to you. Thanks for writing to me but my head it about to loss it. I have been a drug addict sins a was a teenager and was always careful. But this person done this to me. He changed my needle with his in purpose now am get down a lot with my feeling its not fair on my partner and my child ma going to phone ma drug councillor to try and get me it to hospital. Before a end up killing this person that make this happen. A always got tested and it was always clear now am going to end up getting a long prison sentence because a can't let the scumbag walk past me a no its the wrong think to do but it this person ment this a can't take it any more.a need help or am going to be dead or some one else will. Thank for getting back to me.

I understand how angry this has made you. No it isn't fair but beating him up won't get rid of your hepc and prison means you won't see your partner &child everyday. Sucks I know. I have it Phone your counsellor today ! glad you can get anger out. even texting on here helps the feelings. Fast treatment with none or mild side effects, please phone your counsellor, or get dr appointment ? Get on the meds get clear. think of you, your partner & child only ☺ let me know 😍😍

Hi Jies, welcome to the club so sorry for you getting the diagnosis it’s a terrible shock and a lot to take in but it honestly isn’t as bad as you think.

Especially these days with all the new drugs out now you can be cured! And make a full recovery.

Hello, I know the feeling. But there is new medication out there which works for all geno types and dosent have the side effects of the old medicines.

I have just been diagnosed too so I do know how you feel. The important thing is not to dwell on how, where when why but look to the future and feel confident in the fact when it is cleared you will have a new lease of life!!

Hang in there. It's a shock when you first get diagnosed but be glad you know about it cos now you can do something about it . The new treatments work very well so just focus on your healthy future. And people on here know all about it so feel free to vent to us anytime.

Sorry you are having a hard time, it is a shock getting the diagnosis, but as everyone said, there is lots of treatment out there for it now. People are getting cured all the time, so you have a great chance to get rid of it. It is scary to find out, but there is treatment and once you have gotten over the shock you can start looking ahead to the future. Hep C Trust is a good place to call, their helpline is great, as others have suggested, why not give them a ring. Don't be alone, there is always someone on here to respond. Take care of yourself x

Listen, I know you feel like killing the b......, but think of your partner and kid, and the fact that you're diagnosed and going to be helped better. They ain't. Think positive, someone like that will get their karma, they are more to be pitied than anything else, you have the heads up and getting treated, so think positive, and you take it a day at a time 🙏x
