...I can't think of anything that I know now about Hep C that I wished I knew when I was first diagnosed....nothing at all...the only thing I can think of is in general I wish that the whole thing about hep c was more kinda common knowledge, if you know what I mean, rather then it being some kinda underground secret killer virus that for some reason people feel shame for being infect with...thats about it..be interesting to see what others say. Thanks for your post Tess74! Hopefully through increased awareness and communities such as this the stigma surrounding Hep C will be reduced. Is there any advice that you would give if you could talk to someone who had just been diagnosed with Hep C?

yes...call the hep c trust is always my first go to when I come across people who are just diagnosed and its more common then they'd realise and most of all there is no shame in it. I would like to work more in helping people who find themselves in this situation and currently doing a course in counselling so hopefully I will be able to put my own experience into good use
