My hep c aas diagnosed years ago when i lived overseas. At the tkme my g.p suggested treatment which was at that time pegylated interferon.

This process took a year, you had to go dry alcohol wise and inject yourself weekly.

The teatment was so debilitating i didnt consider it

Im now listed for treatment but have heard nothing i havent pushed for it lately and ive been very busy.

However its all a bit vague. After one round of bloodtests they mentioned in passing the genotype 1b quite common i think. They asked me to get a hep b vaccination which i did.

The lazt k heard from the hospital was in mid June when i was supposedly put on a 3 month waitlist.

So lack of information in writing, just a note with the occasional trip to hospital for a scan or bloodtests.

When i have more fred time( i work awsy from home) i will chase up the hospital and G.P.
