Not forgetting that even if your ECG and bloods are normal you may be having an aortic dissection. I thought my AD was an MI, the paramedics radioed in my case saying "we think it's a heart attack but we're not sure". AD is "rare" but not as rare as some would believe, and can present as an MI if the dissection occludes the coronaries, as it did with me.
Just important to have got to A&E/ER asap.
Check thinkaorta dot net web site for the symptoms and what to do, and if you've had monster pain (especially very sudden onset) and then it's gone away, it may not mean you're clear - that' a common pattern with AD. CT for a definitive diagnosis.
