Hi there..I have been taking bisoprolol 5mg daily for at least 20 years. I am in my sixties now and I have been puting my hair thinning down to menopause....it started thinning in my forties so maybe the tablets contributed...you are way too young for that problem. Hope you get it sorted.

Hiya Sorry no personal experience. But if you Google Betablockers and hair loss you’ll find this is a recognised although rare problem with Propanolol and Metropolol. Apparently hair grows back when drug discontinued. Wonder if there’s an alternative drug for you?

Best wishes

Hi, I have been on atenolol for around 2 years and it is definitely a side effect of this drug, but I have carried on taking it because it has helped me with the eptopics and high blood pressure.
