Good Afternoon,

Both the single lead and six lead devices can detect if you are in sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, tachycardia and bradycardia. If you would like to find out more and watch a demo video of them in use please follow the links,

single lead: heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...

six lead: heartrhythmalliance.org/aa/...

For most people the 1 lead will suffice and Kardia only give you an interpretation of the one lead if you ask for that.

Hi

Yes, I use Kardiamobile - I would recommend the six lead one - cardiologists prefer that one as it provides more information on the source of the arrhythmias. I share any blips I have with my cardiologist at my annual reviews, and a and e if I have to visit them and it helps the medical team assess any heart issues you are experiencing.

Also, I find it reassuring. You can subscribe for £9.99 to a review service, whereby you send in an ECG and a medical professional will assess this. This is optional and very much a personal preference.

Hope this helps.

Take care

Hi HearyHealth111, I bought a Kardia mobile from the British Heart Foundation but returned it. Surprisingly, my Cardiologist was not keen on it. I spoke with a nurse at British Heart Foundation and she suggested to get a 'Microlife WatchBP Home A' blood pressure monitor @ £90. It is the only BP monitor that gives precise reading for AF sufferers a d tells you if you are in AF. I had the misfortune of going twice to A&E last November as my Omron BP monitor was giving me normal pulse readings whilst on both occasions, my pulse was quite raised to 147 and 149 respectively. On the second occasion, I was given an intravenous of magnesium to bring my pulse down. All was gine, Troponin was good on both occasions and I was sent home. I hope this helps. All the best. 💜
