Just get used to it and learn to ignore them.

HiFunny enough I’ve had them quite a lot during the day the last couple days , due I think to this heat 🥵 I’ve had a really couple of horrible flutters where my hearts stops for a few seconds and I feel like Iam going to black out!

I did think about getting touch with GP again , I have started to take magnesium taurate which has help with them , especially when I go to bed I hardly have them, I was prone for them to start soon as I went to bed , but touch wood I just get them during day now ! I do try to ignore them , I’ve had them for over 30 years now !!

Blicking horrible though and scary sometimes ..

it’s good to talk on here to compare notes plus you realise that it’s not just you that suffers.

Hope I helped in some way

All the best

Sue

I had a few 10 second "pauses" while wearing a heart monitor and had to grab onto something to keep from falling over. Within days I had my new pace maker. Call your Dr.

Hi

I have had a loop fitted a few years back and they caught it doing this, suggested I had ablation , which I went in for but that couldn’t bring on the flutter. I’ve since seen another consultant but not at Barts where I was under , just locally he looked at my 24 hr tape and said it was nothing to worry about …but I am worried now , I thought you had pacemaker if your heart beat was low, like one of my friends!!

Did they tell you why your heart was doing this?

My Bpm are always around 75-85

My pacemaker is set for too low...which causes the pauses...or too high...AF. My parameters are 50 and 130. Your EP chooses the parameters for your pace maker according to your health.
