Arrhythmias and Covid-19 : Your questions answered – 2022
Thanks TracyAdmin, I've put this on my list of videos to watch as soon as possible, as it must be useful for anyone who has AF or other arrhythmia and wonders about the effect of covid on those. I am not the most anxious person about any possible link, but I do feel that real knowledge is always important when dealing with any disease or condition and there is much still to be learned about this virus. It's interesting, on quickly running through the video that there are some positives to be had from what's been learned about covid.
I was one of the first to catch Covid, in December 2019. It took 3 weeks for me to recover. A month later I noticed missed heart beats almost continuously. By then the Chinese were saying some 40% of former Covid patients have irregular heart rhythms afterwards, what we call long Covid now.
