The AliveCor Kardia Mobile has been approved for use on the NHS by NICE as it allows for earlier detection and monitoring of types of Atrial Fibrillation. The article features our very own, Trudie Lobban, founder and trustee of Arrhythmia Alliance & AF Association.

My Kardia stinks. I am an endurance athlete with bouts of SVT and tons of PVC's...I have gone into multiple episodes of SVT while out riding my bike and the app/device has a near impossible time recording my ECG without some kind of electrical interference. Then I take the recordings to my cardiologist they cant get enough information from the recording..Its ridiculous.

I get your frustration but I can only reassure you that the device is generally good but has its limitations due to outside noise interference. I had similar issues while out cycling but once I found a quiet place lying down in a field or park I was able to get a reading.
