Isoptin/verpamil advice please.

Hi,

Does anyone.have experience with this drug for the treatment of afib?

Attended my ablation follow up with consultant today and I'm booked in for more tests + a repeat ablation.

I've been given a prescription of isoptin/verpamil in the meantime to seeing it can settle things down a bit. Does anybody have any experience with this medication? Has it helped? Have you experienced any problems with it? I currently only take elequis (blood thinner)

Thanks a million.

I’ve been on Verapamil for years, as I have permanent AF. I’m fine on it, but it does give me mild constipation. Plenty of fruit + veg and exercise makes it manageable though, so no real complaints.
