Really odd question here. How come my heart palpitates on cue everytime I bite down the back of my tongue? Vagus nerve?

So just accidentally I noticed everytime I contracted or bit down the back of my tongue where it meets my esophagus, my heart would palpitate

like beat fast, irregularly then when I releaseed, it went back to normal.

I'm pretty sure its because the Vagus nerve has something to do with it but not sure.

Any ideas?
