Worsening SvT and ectopics prior to period

This is one for the perimenopausal ladies. Do you notice that before a period decides or show itself, that your SVT and ectopic get worse?? I’ve noticed this the last two times. My anxiety skyrockets every time I get palpitations, turns into a nightmare circle.

I was due to have an ablation but after seeing a female cardiologist and describing all my symptoms which include a definite monthly pattern to them, she asked me to try HRT and Bisoprolol together. This has worked.

Hi, I'm 46 and since last July been getting chest pains and breathlessness that's getting worse and more frequent, I've been to A&E around 4 times. Had a 24 hr heart monitor which showed some pauses in my heart rate and sometimes tachycardia. I'm going to have a heart monitor on for a week but all blood tests normal so chest pains not heart related which is good. I've wondered if my symptoms are linked to the start of menopause, all I'm told is it's anxiety which I do not feel anxious in any way. My ecgs always concern whoever does them, I was sent to A&E two weeks ago with breathlessness and chest pains, got my period about 10 days after so I'm wondering if it is just menopause. GP said not linked to menopause so just waiting for appointment and results from week of monitoring, until then I'm struggling on with getting out of breath and trying to ignore chest pains that come and go . Have you been given any medication?
