Hello does anyone have constant bigeminy for 30 minutes to 1 hours like "beat beat pause beat beat pause" with normal heart rate around 70bpm when you are lying down. It happens to me for once or twice in a month and especially when iam suffering from cold where my nose got blocked and i need to hyperventilate? Iam a hypochondriac patient from 2 years iam 28 years old.

I've had that happen once, I thought I was going to die. I was praying for God to help me♡ it's scary, I know. I've heard that anxiety can cause it. Lack of sleep also brings them on. I'd see a cardiologist.

God bless:)

I think that is trigeminy. Bigeminy is beat pause beat pause. No matter, not nice, I get both. Try to relax, they will go but take advice. Mine are caused by swallowing too much air, usually while sipping hot drinks, eating too fast, talking too much, fizzy drinks. Your hyperventilation may have the same effect, swallowing air, gas in stomach/bowels, pressure on vagus nerve = palpitations, skipped beats. I find lying flat, knees bent, firmly massaging abdomen helps to release gas, up and down!

500ml coke contains up to 1500 ml of carbon dioxide!! Of course you don't swallow it all, you would know! I used to drink one can of lager a night till I read how much CO2 it contains. Palpitations dropped straight away. When you swallow hot drinks, you also swallow air to cool it. I try to breath out before I swallow. Helps me.
