My palpitations and symptoms are worse when lying down trying to sleep. They improve when I'm up and about. Any reason for this does anyone know? It's frustrating as it's adding to my frequent insomnia.

Yes, same. Found it helps to have lots of pillows and lay on right side. Have also been prescribed mild sleeping tablet for very bad nights. Meditation is good.
hi. i hardly ever used to get palpitations at home or even lying down (which is why for so long I thought it was just anxiety), now I do, in fact more than when I'm out. odd though because I find that lying on my left side helps but then I have a big curve in my spine so maybe that's why it's the other way round for me. but yes they can play up when you're sat in bed or lying down. either that or you are more likely to feel them then. and sorry no i have no idea why this happens i just know it's horrible. x
