Does anyone use phone apps to keep an eye on pulse etc

I have svt which I've grown used to.

Recently I have had pressure in my neck and throat when walking, have been referred for an angiogram.

Just wondered if an app would be useful.

I have switched on features on my Apple Watch to give me alerts. I keep an eye on it but I don’t think they are particularly reliable. I’ve had only one SVT episode in the past year and I’ve not been wearing the watch (typical!) I use the HR data more for working out effort during exercise sessions.

Hi, I don’t use a phone app as I also found them unreliable.

Best of luck with your angiogram ☘️

There not accurate compared to medical equipment. When you get checked at your doctors then use your phone app. That can give you an idea of the difference between the two.

I use a kardia which in fact is what the hospital use to diagnose my SVT. Great piece of kit
