Chest vibrations

I also experience vibrations or a buzzing feeling in my chest. I was diagnosed with Graves' disease about 9 years ago and experienced these vibrations then. They only last a minute or two and I only notice them while I'm resting.

I too have had the vibrations, woke me at 4 a m with whole torso (shoulders to hips) vibrating. It was originating from behind my sternum...scary stuff! Lasted about an hour, no other symptoms. Got in to see my GP, tests and X-rays all normal, waiting to get an Echo-cardio gram. If all is "normal", great. If results show a problem, I am ready to deal with that...the not-knowing is frustrating!

I just woke with vibrations in my chest but my breathing is normal. It’s very strange. Lasted awhile this time. And they probably won’t show any signs on ekg because when you go it’s not happening. I’m thinking about asking for a heart monitor to wear at night.

Julinei, vibrations are strange...and something to have checked out by your Dr. It is likely heart related, perhaps getting an ekg would indicate what is going on. You didn't say your age...I am 70, so less than 48 hours after my chest vibrating episode, I was in the Dr.s office.
