It appears possible for a member to enter his thread on a locked account via newsfeed, and then post, though strangely not delete. This may explain some of oyster's recent difficulties.
Perhaps a case for IT to tweak the app.

There's an app?
Yes though hard to find on Apple App Store and frustrating to use on my iPad 4 10.3.3 Better to stick with browser or iPhone or android. Seems like a beta version at present.
