Which is better for preventing AFib, Flecainide or Sotalol?

Analysis showed that treatment with Flecainide and Sotalol. decreases the risk of arrhythmia recurrence respectively of 85% and 76% versus placebo at the end of the follow-up. The incidence of cardiac and/or noncardiac side effects was not clinically significant.

I was on flecainide for about 6 weeks , the doctor said it would never prevent a fib . I'm in Persistent a fib . It just controlled the rate at which my heart was beating I've brought my heart rate down from 145 to 90 . However that drug didn't agree we me and I went back on digoxin ,
