Palpitations

HI, I started having pains in my left arm and underneath my left breast a long time ago, several visits to the doctor and tests done to no avail, I am now having heart palpitations that are painful and last for hours, I have an appointment with a cardiologist in 2 weeks time but tonight is the worst I have had them, are anyone else's painful?

Yes, had that. I found that it worried me and thought this made things a LOT worse, although I didn't realise it at the time. So my GP gave me some anti-anxiety pills (not that I'm an anxious person at all), to stop the vicious cycle but only on the understanding I took very few as they are addictive. In one especially bad session I took one and it worked within 20-30 minutes, now just having them around helps even though I VERY rarely take one.

Thank for your reply, nice to know it's not just me. I do try not to stress when I get them but it seems to be every day at the moment. Can't wait to see the cardiologist to have this sorted!
