Could this be linked to hormone imbalance following hysterectomy with BSO? (9.5 months post surgery)

I am 9.5 months post hysterectomy with BSO. I'm not well. It started about 6 months post surgery. I am thinking I'm going through a hormone imbalance but family physician, cardiologist and neurologist don't believe my symptoms are linked to my hormones. The gynecologist doesn't recommend any hormone replacement treatment due to the risk of cancer following a 2017 melanoma diagnosis.

It all started with losing sight in my left eye one day(it came back after 45 minutes) to having double vision a couple weeks later. (Had an MRI, there is a spot on my brain but the neurologist says my brain doesn't present as an MS brain. Going through tests to rule out other conditions). Now, going through blood pressure and heart issues. On medication, BP can be 160s/100s one minute and drop to 85/50s the next. That is on medication. My heart rate is also fluctuating, going down to 48-50s bpm at times. I always feel much better when blood pressure and heart rate are higher. I have had an ECG, a 2D echocardiogram, a nuclear stress test, wore a blood pressure monitor for 24 hours and I am now wearing a holter monitor for 2 weeks. Didn't have any episodes during the first week with the holter but have been getting chest pains off and on since yesterday. I haven't received any results from all that testing yet. I am looking forward to getting answers. I don't see my family doctor before Dec. 4th.

Wondering if this could be linked to hormones? Has or is anyone going through this?

Thank you for your feedback! :)

Elaine, the Bible tells us that there's power in the sPoken word. Declare and degree total healing from all the Pain.

Am on my 9 month as well after TAH-BSO. I have had nothing compared to what you are going through. But I had a very nasty headache six months after surgery. I can attest I nearly gave up hope. But I trusted God to direct me to the right doctor. Nearly 2 weeks now I feel the change.

Do not lose hope. Trust Him. Remember, healing is your portion. Speak life over the situation you're going through.

He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond everything we ask for.

Call on Him. Trust Him. Surrender all to Him. And thank Him for everyday you wake up.

Never lose hope.

NB:

We all got different reactions after a hysterectomy.

Stay tuned to Him.

👊🙏

Thank you for your response Lunje! I really needed this reminder today! I am looking forward to feeling better and getting some results! I also had my 6 month cancer follow up this week and biopsies were taken once again. I now have 51 spots gone and I will be going for ultrasounds for lumps that were found. Praying all comes back clear!

I am happy to read your prayers were answered and the right doctor has been put on your path! I am also very happy you found some relief in the last 2 weeks!

I must say I am feeling more confident in my new medical team than I have felt in years. My prayers have been answered in the last two months! My health issues had been minimized and ignored for years. I had lost total faith and I was giving up. I have learned that I have to be my own advocate and chose to risk not having a doctor in order to eventually find one that would take the time to listen to me. I have taken my health into my own hands and now have a gynecologist, a neurologist and this new dermatologist that I consider my gifts from God! I am already feeling gifted with my cardiologist that acknowledges there is something wrong as well.

Again, thank you! I pray you keep being well!

Take Care!

Elaine

Elaine6,

Life will never be the same with us after this nasty ordeal. Remember we've recreated what God created by deleting some major body parts. Our bodies are mechanisms that work to complement each part. There's a total distortion in the body. And so it's fighting itself by rebooting in order to find logic in its operation. So, it misfires causing us pain from various points. Until it adjusts itself and sets new factory default settings, we will once in a while feel the pain.

May God help us through this enormous change.

Stay encouraged
