Feeling great except when I laugh or cough. The only problem I have now is constipation. I've only had one proper poo since my op. I have a little bit every day but it is never a full proper one. I'm drinking a lot of water and eating more fruit but still can't have a proper poo.

LInseeds really good soak a spoon full of them all day in quarter cup of water then will go gloopy eat in the evening with plenty of water. STart with small teaspoon full if sensitive. πŸ™ƒ Also I only took paracetamol and ibroprofen for pain it's all they gave me when they discharged me which I thought was a bit annoying but actually I've not been constipated at all and also find if you are gonna take strong pain killers don't take at night as if I do that is when BM more uncomfortable in morning??? Dunno if any of that will help I've had a crappy recovery but not been constipated so it's the only think I can give advice on πŸ˜‚ Or milk of magnesia is good too just small amount I used after my lap when I had superficial endo cut from bowel and didn't have to much bowel interruption after.πŸ’—πŸ’—

Glad to hear you doing really well the laughing thing is very annoying isn't it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ’—

I only had pain meds for four days. I was only give the ibuprofen and paracetamol when I left the hospital. But that was all I got when I was in there anyways. I hope your starting to recover now.

Nope my bladder and bowel just seem in permanent spasm now so still not sleeping, my uterus ovaries and cervix were all normal and clear so all bit confusing as had been told I had adenomyosis after a biopsy last year so that's why I had hysterectomy as was in continuous pain with bladder and bowels before. Now I have all the prior pain multiplied plus recovery hysterectomy pains still , early days but if there was nothing abnormal at all about gyne stuff don't think anything is gonna change seems to have made it worse in fact.

Can't wait to recover and get back to work but it's 4.5 weeks and still need a hot water bottle to wee properly and not getting hardly any sleep still πŸ˜–

Learning to self Cather tomorrow finally πŸ’—

Hope you have a good week and you bowel starts behaving ✨✨✨

Black coffee gets the bowels moving! If not, get a stool softening laxative and keep up the fluids. Walk a bit more because lack of exercise stops things working properly. But, don't worry and don't try to force it. It will happen eventually!

Just over 2 weeks and my bowels are working properly again! Probably due to all the extra fruit I have been eating lol
