I have neurofibromatosis, with at least two major effects, epilepsy and scoliosis, does it speed up dementia with my Parkinson' disease?

Check his meds. Several PD meds cause symptoms of dementia.

Enpea - I am taking Epilim for Epilepsy, apparently some of it's side effects include Parkinson's Disease like symptoms , tremors, loss of concentration, unsteady on one's feet, short term memory loss even slight dementia, you could be onto something there, will get in touch with specialist about this.

Thanks!

Enpea- Apparently due to my Epilepsy consultant retiring leaving me on a high medication, long terms of this medication -Epilim over a long period left me with Parkinson's disease type symptoms, a DAT scan proved I had Parkinson type effects. My father had Parkinson's disease so I thought the worst! Since having various discussion's with medical personals, my epilepsy medication was reduced. Dramatic improvement!!! My GP agreed, no Parkinson's disease! I am actually crying writing this comment.
