An article in The Sun contained so many inaccuracies we decided to write - with the help of scientists - a version that was more in fitting with reality.

Ann Rodgers has replied to my Facebook post with a tirade against Sense About Science. Strangely, she says arguing with her would be flogging a dead horse.

I am amazed how people choose to describe themselves.

Anyway, she believes that you are all in the pockets of the chemical industry
