A bit more detail would be useful of your diet and attitude towards food.

What type of foods do you eat?

Why do you think you are getting frequest motions?

Have you noticed a pattern when it has occurred?

Is it stress related?

Have you seen a specialist and got a diagnosis?

I mostly take bread and vegetables in breakfast. In lunch and dinner take rice, fish, pulses. More frequently I go out in restaurants to take pizza or fry. I get loose motion in morning and evening most. I am a diagnosed case of hypothyroidism with TPO antibody positive.

I would be interested in other people's reply that may offer some help. My understanding is that loose stools are not a symptom of hypothyroidism so something else is going on.

My initial reactions is that there is a lack of vegetables in your diet. Also your gut health may not be good enough. Try some form of live food such as Kefir, Sauerkraut or Kimchi.

I wonder if you've brought something new into your diet that may not be suiting you, or have you been prescribed any new medication recently with this as a side affect ? Your GP might be able to pinpoint it. Hope you can get it sorted soon.

No new medication except levothyroxine. Though I changed brand few days back.

That may well do it. My daughter has major gastric distress whenever she has a dosage change in her thyroxine. Changing brand may have similar effect.

According to your information there is a significant lack of live raw food in your diet. This may be what your body needs.

Instead of cooked vegetables try eating some raw ones like tomatoes or salads, or nibble on carrots or turnips. Or enjoy some fresh fruit - not canned. Your body will appreciate the proper nourishment and may well rectify you problem.

Let us know how you get on after a week or two.
