Have you read the latest news on to much protein?and to suggest eating lard, dripping cream is madness. I suffer from heart disease and to recommend this sort of diet to anybody is not good. I would say a low carb diet would help you lose weight, but do not cut carbs out completely, have potatoes, bread, pasta rice etc "(Wholemeal) and brown rice and pasta. Just have a lot less than you would normally have and increase the vegetables.Swap white potato for sweet potatoe.Sweet potato has been shown also to regulate sugar levels in people who suffer from diabetes. What i have done is have mashed carrots and swede instead of potato and find that helps me lose weight. Or mash a small sweet potato with lost of broccoli this makes you feel as if you are eating more and very filling.
