Weekend walk

My son took on a walking challenge last week. 5 friends competing against another 5 friends. He has been working so had some catching up to do this weekend before Sunday evening when the challenge finished.

We walked 50km over three days which was fine for me but my son had blisters on top of blisters in about the first hour!

Anyway, it was a good use of time over the weekend and good fun. My son doesn’t normally walk far so it did him good too.

My sons team did 554km in a week and the other team did 480km so they were pleased they won.

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

Ali 🙂

First and foremost well done to your son, it was definitely a challenge and I'm so pleased his team won👏

Secondly what beautiful photos Ali and I see you had your 'Woman's best friend' with you. An excellent way to spend the weekend.😊🌈

Ah yes I did. Bless her. They did well. Especially one girl who did nearly 200 km!

Thank you. Bless him he ended up walking in just his socks as he couldn’t bear to put his shoes on!
