River Parrett

[Agoodenough]

I enjoyed a gentle stroll along the River Parrett this afternoon. It’s lovely and sunny but I think we have storm Hannah to thank for such a cold bitter wind.

It looks like the boat hit the bank so they probably didn’t appreciate me taking a photo! I love the water glistening on the river and it makes it look warmer than it was.

The bottom right picture is a hedge we drive past. While everyone looks right to see stone henge I look left to see the hedge in the distance to see if it still resembles a giant sheep on the horizon! 🐑

This looks a great walk Ali and how embarrassing for the boat! you wonder how on earth that happened... 😂 the hedge does looks like a sheep so a great collage. 😊

That’s good 👍Thank you, yes it’s beautiful and my mother in laws has a gate at the back of her garden and you walk straight out onto the path next to the river.

It is lovely although it does flood in the winter which looks amazing as the water floods the other side across the fields rather than towards the houses 🤞 It’s beautiful in the summer.

That's a good thing that the flooding only affects the fields and can imagine that does look lovely. I love the countryside. 😀
