Hi everyone,
I wanted to clear my head so went for a walk last night down by the river and it was spooky because I could hear the water rushing by so knew not to get too close in case there was a sudden splash and then I came around a corner to see this flowering cherry tree with a street lamp making the flowers almost glow, the image was better than I captured with my phone but I think its shows how lovely an evening walk can be as this looked quite ethereal to me. 😊
Great photo using your phone Jerry. Cherry blossoms are one of my many favorites. When l was young l saw the Blooming Cherry Blossoms in Washington DC... a marvelous memory. Granni B
Hey thanks GranniB I wasn't sure whether to post it as it looked spectacular last night. But you're right cherry blossom is very beautiful very delicate too, I've one flowering just outside my bedroom window so wake up to see one. 😊
What a lovely photo. It looks very arty to me. You’re lucky to be able to go for a walk in the evening. I couldn’t where I live. We have a flowering cherry too. It’s huge we need to get permission to prune it or possibly take it out it’s so close to the house and it’s protected apparently. So that’s where my lumberjack skills come in. 🙂

I think as you have a tree threatening your property and especially as you're a lumberjack I'd hack first and just say it wasn't very well protected...now please don't thank me as I have these brainwaves... 😊

The blossom on the tree looks gorgeous. A lovely and ethereal evening walk - glad you enjoyed it. It looks Magical, as if a Fairy could pop out at any moment.
