Yesterday whilst walking in the woods I found a horse shoe. As you can see from the photo it’s a pretty large one.
I don’t think they re use them so I decided to take it home as my good luck charm!
The thing is yesterday it was spick and span and today is gone rusty already lol ......anyway not being one to be deterred, let the good luck commence! 😁 🐎

Hey I really like finding things like this and horse shoes are good luck charms I'm not sure why but know they are often hung above doors. Steel goes rusty really quickly so it can't have been there very long, so definitely a lucky find. 😊
I'd love to find one so hope that it brings you good luck and throughout 2019 🙏
Thank you Jerry. Well......as you mentioned it I did look into this yesterday and apparently if you hang it heels up (the pointy bits) it’s to keep the luck inside the shoe and stop the luck draining out and if you hang it heels down that means that when it’s hung above a doorway then luck falls upon the person walking through the door. So I take that as any way is a winner. If I find another three I will take that as a lucky sign that next year I need to be getting a horse instead of a puppy! 🤣
Haha! Well that’s me decided then. It keeps going around in my head. I do so much walking I could give a dog a lovely life but of course we have two cats and don’t want to upset them. Also I’m very interested in dog psychology and training so I’m running out of excuses not to get one. We will see 🙂
You take Lola back to your house so the cats must be used to having dogs around and I think if you'd like one that much you ought to as now you've moved you'd give a puppy a great home. 😊
Thank you! Lol I had a little look too. I’m rather pleased with my find. Especially as I have a new house so a good luck charm does seem like a lucky find 🙂
