I had an invigorating walk this morning near the River Parrett on the Somerset Levels. It was cloudy and drizzly but atmospheric. I love the changing seasons in the UK and it’s great to get out and get moving in the fresh air. The photo is taken at Langport.

Well done to you on going for a walk even though the weather wasn't good. That's what I need to do more.
Lovely photo.
I love walking. I sometimes have to make an effort to get going if I’m feeling tired and have a dog to walk but then I find it invigorating. (Although yesterday we were visiting relatives).
Agree as I also love walking. We went to Derbyshire for our holiday and stayed right in the middle of the country, it was stunning and we had a fabulous time.😀
Sounds great. We are off to the Lake District next week as I just love it there but my parents keep saying we should go to Derbyshire as it’s my mums favourite place and I keep thinking maybe we should have done that this time instead as have been to the lakes a couple of times now but I love it there so will have to try Derbyshire next time. Glad you enjoyed it. Good news about Ambleside is there are a few vegan restaurants 👍🌱
Ooh the Lake District is my second home, love it. We stay in Keswick as we love the town centre. I love climbing the mountains.
Yes Derbyshire is definitely a beautiful place to visit. We stayed in Longnor Holiday Park, that's a place I highly recommend, it's 6 miles from Buxton and is situated right in the middle of the countryside, it's a beautiful place.
Re restaurants, sorry but I don't know as I've never eaten in one in Ambleside but I've no doubt they do.
Have a fab time in the Lakes.😀
Hi Ali, I agree that the countryside has a beauty regardless of the weather not like cities which go dark and grey in bad weather.
The church looks like wonderful in a slight haze on the horizon, so I'm glad that you enjoyed your walk.
