Well I've been trying to get a photo of the moorhens as they are shy and will scarper faster than I can photograph them so today I went to another pond and fed one and then came around the side of the pond to take a photo. What sets a moorhen apart from a coot is its red and yellow beak as a coot has a white beak. They are also significantly smaller than ducks and I love how they run across the ground...π
It was very pleasant this morning not as warm as last week but bursts of sunshine so it was nice to get out before the rains hit us as there's a storm on the way. π¨
What a lovely Photo Jerry, sadly I have lost all my photos, due to the problems with the laptop - that will teach me not to save a copy to a memory stick, or google drive, at least we have your photos to look forward to, lovely weather this morning, but the storms on its way
Thanks Debs, I'm so sorry you've lost your photo's I've lost mine in the past when pc's have packed up.
At least you have access to some of the lovely photo's you've posted on HU groups and can transfer them back to a photo album and you will soon take more with your new camera. But it is a shame as I know how you liked taking photo's and great photo's.
Thats very kind Jerry, I am now thinking of getting a DSLR camera - its a Nikon but quite small, oddly enough its cheaper than some of the bridge cameras : >
Ive gone right off Canon with the trouble I had returning that one I just purchased - the quality was shockling bad, so I think I will go for a Nikon, I will look into the lense though, the one i was looking was Β£369, hundred pound off if you purchased the camera as well : >
Thank you Zest, I have brought an external drive, as long as I remember to backup - all will be fine. Oddly enough it was disk clean up that wiped them all off
