Almost every move I made in the past difficult situations turned out to be wrong. I find decision-making is so hard, and not feel confident

hi Ray, yes, I get this very well. I feel like this too. However, if we think

in small terms, like did we choose a sandwich we like? or some shoes? or toothpaste? Well, then we can tell ourselves, we can choose what we like and fits us!

The bigger ones, I just read, we are supposed to try not to make when upset. Of course, you probably read that too.

And that there are no mistakes ...that we will look back perhaps in years later and maybe realize we learned something we had to.

I feel the same as you describe here.

I am just muddling my way through like you...

I know we make many good decisions as we are here alive and also on this site!

I hear you and relate..

tiny steps, tiny decisions, try to feel in our bodies is what I have been told...

yeah, we may not be in touch with feelings in bodies after trauma, but deep

down, we are making tiny decisions that make us survivors.

Maybe gradually very slowly we will trust ourselves and trust our bodies too...<3

The key for me has been that since having therapy, I am able to know that my decisions are much less likely to be coming from influences from subconscious stuff. That's helpful to me. 👍

i really feel you, I have had to make really hard decisions in hard circumstances and there were a lot of avoidable mistakes I made. Now decision making is painful-i agonize over even small ones, or the order in which to do things, or whether to try things that i don't know will work out just because of the pain of disappointment if they don't. I do have someone to talk things over with and I take bach remedies which have been amazing for me. The other day I had to make a decision and each option was hard, to travel which I felt would be too difficult, or to stay home in my new, very disorganized apartment alone. After taking a remedy I knew what to decide...i think you can get burn out from decision making, when you have to make hard ones, many for a long time that have very big consequences...its really exhausting.
