Have you got a drain in? or do you just have meds? Any sudden worsening needs to be checked out especially if you get bad heads and sickness and a temp. I dont have Hydrocephalous but my brother does. Sometimes the meds you take can cause headaches but it could also be caused by infection especially if you have a drain in place, thats why i asked. Either way better to be cautious and see the doctor next week, remember it is easter at the end of the week and doctors may be shut 1 april.

I have hydrocephalus, have had since my SAH last year. I presume you have a shunt in place, if you have any pain from that or fever then go get checked out.

I find that I am incredibly intune with weather pressure changes now and I don't do well with low pressure, which we are right now and I've been to the doctor this last week feeling like rubbish.

BUT if you're worried please get checked, headaches for me are more associated with high pressure so that's not worth risking.

Shine are a good support organisation for hydro and offer some meets etc, might be worth checking if they have local to you.

Hi RomannticPianist

It is very important that you seek medical advice if you are experiencing worsening headaches and seizures. You may also wish to contact the Headway Helpline. The helpline is a nurse led service and provides support on the telephone either through giving information or just for a listening ear – it is free to call from both mobiles and landlines – the number is 0808 800 22 44. Alternatively you can email: helpline@headway.org.uk

Best wishes
