Presented by one of the radio and music presenter, and her attempting to rebuild and grieve for who she was, all a bit raw really she clearly isn’t there yet or might not ever reach acceptance.

Does have the 2 years myth quoted, in it but she is living in New York City so American healthcare aka insurance which is where the myth of no more recovery post 2 years comes from as that’s when the insurance stops!

but definitely worth a watch.

Thanks for sharing Roger. I will definitely watch. I'm a looking after my wife who has survived two subarachnoid haemorrhages but also has fibromyalgia and hereditary haemochromatosis, so sorting out the source of her various symptoms is complicated (e.g. is she chronically fatigued and suffering brain fog because of fibro or the HH or the two ABIs?). In terms of support, I had not heard of the 2-year myth, but it tracks with the lack of neuro followup we have experienced.

That'll be interesting thanks Roger. I'm in the UK, but I think two years is when my health insurance ground to a halt. Here it's because because they don't cover chronic conditions. Plus I was told a lot of research doesn't cover longer periods - so the time period is just the arbitrary length of the study. Was trying to do some clearing up and found my original diaries and reports to the insurance companies, it was weird to read them back again, and recall the amount of effort it took to write back then.

Thanks for letting us know. It may be a good but challenging watch. The 2 year myth even if true, does not take account for you improving as you acknowledge and adapt to the new you.

I hate the 2 year reference, but it does sound more akin to available medical treatment than to actual recovery.
