Has anyone else had problems with chronic insomnia and an inability to feel the cold, months or years after a concussion?

Insomnia and inability to regulate temperature
Hi Daisy, it might be worth having a chat with your GP, sometimes after a brain injury hormones/electrolytes can get out of sync, not saying it is this, but it's a starting point.
Hi there. Many people with brain injuries seem to suffer from temperature extremes. I am very cold all the time and find it difficult to get and keep warm.
Hi, I'm now 4 years after the TBI. Been having trouble sleeping and resulting body temperature. In the summer when it was 30'c (2 days that was summer here) I was absolutely freezing, but by 8pm I was boiling. Same now I can see our house is warm with the fires on (18'c) but either absolutely freezing or boiling. (I've sort of worked out that just now I go either boiling or freezing if I've overdone things recently)The insomnia was horrid, since starting Neuropsychology it has improved, bought a tinnitus pillow and changed the pillow and duvet to 'wool bedding' and that has helped a lot with temperature and pain in the back of my head when I lie down, wish I'd done that years ago
