just an up date that I wrote to my MP about the non existent Neuro rehab in Cornwall and have received a email today to say concerns have been sent to the health minister .. wonder what the reply will be ??? Will keep you posted ..sue

I have emailed my MP to ask for info and update on the Brain Injury strategy. It feels like it's gone very quiet.

I did send the headways details that were asked to be addressed along with its my own details so can only hope that we can be heard .. just need to keep complaining about the neuro issues in the country regarding rehab as the more people point this out the more chance of something happening in a positive way forward .

That's good to hear! I emailed my new MP (Labour) and she's taken it up with the County Council as a social services issue. Although it's also an NHS issue. Would you be happy to share your letter (minus the personal details of course) as a template? I'd like to do the same and mention your MP's action. 👍

I didn’t send one letter it was over several letters also about PIP .. what I did send them was the Headlines link about the budget and what is needed for Head injuries .. I can’t send the link I sent to my MP sorry .. but Perran Moon is my new Labour MP in Cornwall . I had to explain what the headway’s link was as they won’t open any link they know nothing about ..

all did was tell him about me in a short version plus Cornwall not having a Neuro Department in our hospital .. just tell them who you are and what you experiencing .. and mention Perran Moon from Redruth Cornwall has sent it to the health MP .. I’m no expert on writing letters but I’m not staying quiet about the appalling situation of having a head injury and the NHS Sue ..
