Hi, just came across this and though it might be helpful alongside Headway on Merseyside or the surrounding area. They can give help to people in the rest of the UK via phone or web aswel.

The brain charity is excellent, it is there for any brain injury/damage, also for the family and friends, I had counselling there when my son had his accident, and still pop in and have a coffee in their cafe ,

They have a host of activities and meet ups all year , cannot fault them ,

Yes, they're brilliant. Ian wouldn't have got his PIP without their help. A friendly little community base. We used to go to ukulele lessons there before covid!
