reading posts has made me wonder as I am going through hissing head after thirdventriculostomy for hydrocephalus back in 09 and it is still with me also horrible bad back pain which nothing seems to fix pain blockers etc I too feel I have lost myself and want to make appointment at GP but feel I am wasting mine and theirs time so have come on here so sorry to have a rant feeling very lonely I have a husband and one daughter with 3 kids so dont want to bother her.

It is never a waste of time to see your GP.

GP's don't generally have a clue on brain injury symptoms but they have a duty of care to address your issues by referring you on to a neuro specialist. There'll probably be a fair wait to be seen in the chaos of today's NHS, but at least you'll know you're back in the system. Best wishes, Cat..
