Hi

Has anyone had sort of the same injuries as me and been able to fly I really want to but I’m so scared I get pressure from just standing up and obviously if I’m on a flight and in agony I’m stuck in the air until landing

Hi, I would speak to you GP, they would have to sign you as fit to fly. This would go for anyone with a long term illness. Also you would need to get insurance, this might be more problematic than if you can fly. It's not really something you can keep quiet about and hope for the best.

I'm sure that any good highstreet travel agent could tell you about any restrictions you may come up against. Also check out if Headway have information about flying.

People that have had BIs have obviously travelled abroad, but I guess it is dependent on the injury, and how much the injury has healed/its stability.

I hope it all goes the way you wish 🍀

First time my partner was on a plane it was a little uncomfortable but no more. Future flights have been a bit better - partly because he is less anxious
