Visual perceptual and cognitive exercises for TBI

I looked up these exercises by Dr Donalee Markus and tried them out following my TBI and eventual optometry treatment a few years ago. I adapted them to the four shape system - square, circle, triangle and cylinder - worked on them while also mixing them with balancing exercises for spatial awareness. It worked I got my life back.

Here's a video with Donalee. She also has a variety of apps. Thought I'd share.

Thanks for this. Ian needed a reminder to do his puzzles. Wish we could get the other ones. Wish we could get over there to see her!

She has apps too. Just like she said in the video remember that sometimes it feels like you are failing but to just keep trying. You may want to read 'The Woman Who Changed Her Brain' by Barbara Arrowsmith-Young. It shows what you can do if you just keep trying.
