Simple memory association test

Late one night I was pottering about on my laptop with the tv in the background out of sight.

A frequently played advert which has mainly music, do you think I could remember the product brand. Tried it with a few more adverts and exactly the same. Even the cool dog in front of the fan. Could remember the music but not the product.

Interesting experiment to try while we are still in lockdown boredom.

PS After a year of lockdown you now know why puppies chew legs of chairs when left by themselves for long periods

I mute the ads as soon as I sense a commercial break coming, so rarely pay attention unless something a bit more quirky or imaginative catches my eye. There are just three ads which I un-mute for :-

Natwest ..young girl showing off pound coin from supermarket trolley to the tune of 'This is how we do it' ...(she'll be a star one day).

The AA woolly dog with fan ...& Sophie Tukker song.

Lloyd's Bank ad with black stallion & Carpenter's song 'We've only just begun'.

The rest stay on mute ! 😖 xx

I can tell what any advert is just by hearing the music and I mostly remember the words spoken.

Puppies teethe and they’ll chew anything.

It can be out of boredom

With one of the St Bernhard pups we owned we woke up in the morning to find a leg missing of the settee and half from the dining table.
