What’s thoughts on speed that some councils go at,my old disabled freedom pass expired sept 20th and they’ve not long emailed saying they’re processing the renewal but it could take up to 4 weeks to sort?

It’s a bus pass with your picture on,you get free travel with the chip in it,when I got my first one I got a year and a day out of it before it expired

Yes, when I first used mine on MyBus (new equivelent of the old Dial A Bus) I had to explain to the driver...after a stationary 10mins wait outside my house that the gentleman companion he was patiently waiting for was in fact my Assistance Dog (Mobility) who was in fact mentioned as Mr Horace...who was patiently lying on the floor just as puzzled as me about the wait. The drivers still laugh about it...

I suspect the delay is covid related. Most people are working from home or in complete isolation from others. 50%of the workforce may not even be there and processes taking a completely different route to get done.
