Hi im 34 suffered a stroke leading to fluid in the brain which has resulted in a long term brain injury. Im 15years on and only just coming to terms with it now. I was a single mum of a 5 year old at the time and would like to be able to talk to someone at similar age?

Hi there. I'm older than you (47) but I suffer fluid on the brain (also called Hydrocephalus) too. Mine was caused by a lesion (not a tumour) that blocks the fluids escape route from around the brain. Did you need to have a Shunt? Or did they drain your fluid surgically?
