That Joke Isn't Funny Any More

BBC Scotland channel has a short film up currently from Hannah Currie twitter.com/hannahcurrie/ filming her aunt and uncle. He had a head injury and now tells jokes repeatedly. It's very moving.

Another tale of putting on a brave face in such testing and monotonous of circumstances. What a poignant little film, especially when you think of the idyllic life these people might have had in their stunning surroundings.

Multiply it by thousands and it hardly bears thinking about.
